In a survey of 2016–2019 graduates, 59 percent of Syracuse online business graduates reported receiving a raise or promotion following graduation—or while still in the program. Graduates who received a raise received, on average, a 31 percent increase. Up to 32 percent were able to leverage their degree with a new employer.


This data is collected by Poets & Quants in a self-reported survey of alumni from the online graduate business programs from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management in 2016, 2017, and 2018. The data was pulled and calculated in August 2019.

The online MBA program at Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and was recognized among the top 25 online MBA programs by The Princeton Review.¹ Syracuse is also ranked the #1 private institution for veterans by The Military Times.² Both rankings were published in 2020.
